While the world was in chaos, you guys all did hard things and did them like pros! I’m proud of the parents and students and staff who worked hard to make our first day of full-immersion community-based instruction a success. I loved the pictures that came in and I hope more are to come. I saw happy learners. Please let us know what we can do to support you if you need something. Remember to take the time to let the kids engage with their friends. I tried out the Marco Polo app and it is great for sending video messages back and forth. I think the kids would love it.
Today as I prayed for each one of you I was struck by the thought that our job at TBOG is to give your kids wings and help them soar. But in these strange weeks we are in now, you are having the opportunity to strengthen their roots. You are building your relationship with them even stronger and giving them a solid root system they can’t get anywhere but home. Roots and wings are winning combination for our children and I’m eager to see the impact this has on their lives.
I am reminded of Isaiah 41:10 where it says “...fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.
I hope you have a relationship with God that allows you to lean into Him when you are overwhelmed. He will strengthen you and hold you up. You don’t have to be overwhelmed. He is truly delighted to do that in our lives when we hand it over to Him. I love you!!!❤️
